NifSkope is an application that can read, modify, and write nif files. It is part of the NifTools Project. The most up to date version is maintained by fo76utils and can be downloaded from its GitHub page. NifSkope is essential for nif implementation, and is useful for other disciplines such as concept art and 3D art as well, as it allows easy viewing and export of in game assets.

Downloads[edit]

  • NifSkope (fo76utils) ("dev11"): The most up to date version. Receives active development.
    • Supports all Bethesda games, up to Starfield, as well as many other games using nif format.
    • Native support for Windows, Linux, and MacOS

Older versions of NifSkope also exist, and are listed here for posterity. They lack many of the features added by later revisions. Versions are listed from newer to older.

  • NifSkope (hexabits) ("dev9"): a development branch. Last updated 2023.
