Setting | Cyrodiil |

Start Date | November 2011 |
Cyrodiil: The Seat of Sundered Kings is an unofficial expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, developed under the Beyond Skyrim banner. Development on the project began in 2011, shortly after the release of Skyrim. The events of Cyrodiil: The Seat of Sundered Kings are intended to work concurrently or shortly after the events of Skyrim, and whilst that game focused on events solely in the province of Skyrim, Cyrodiil: The Seat of Sundered Kings provides an expansion for the player to enter the province of Cyrodiil.
Machiavellian politics ensue as the counties and political juggernauts of Cyrodiil vie against each other to seize the Ruby Throne after the Emperor Titus Mede’s reign collapses. Whether or not they had a hand in his death, players newly arrived in the Heartland of the Empire will be drawn into the power struggle, and face the choice of deciding who they will help to crown the new Emperor of Tamriel.
