House Tharn was a house that once held great esteem in Cyrodiil. Unlike other famous houses, House Tharn was well known for its powerful battlemages. The house itself traces its roots to the 1st Era, making it one of the oldest in all of Cyrodiil.
3rd Era[edit]
The most infamous person associated with the House Tharn was Jagar Tharn. Jagar was an imperial battlemage infamous for kidnapping Emperor Uriel VII, impersonating him using illusion magic, and starting the Imperial Simulacrum. Jagar Tharn was slain by the Eternal Champion in 3E 399, about a decade after Jagar had kidnapped Uriel VII in the first place.
