Iliac Bay: Factions
Political Divisions
The kingdoms and major city states of High Rock and Hammerfell are constantly fighting amongst each other. The kingdoms are:
High Rock
- United Kingdom of Daggerfall-Camlorn, a large kingdom ruled from Daggerfall that also controls Camlorn and its former kingdom.
- Kingdom of Evermore, ruled from the city of Evermore.
- Kingdom of Shornhelm, ruled from the city of Shornhelm.
- Kingdom of Wayrest, a large kingdom ruled from Wayrest.
- Camralyn Entente, an entity centered around the city of Kambria. Officialy part of the Kingdom of Wayrest, but with a desire for independence.
Three northern Kingdoms have united themselves against their southern opponents in an alliance known as the Eltheric League
- Kingdom of Farrun, ruled from the city of Farrun.
- Kingdom of Jehanna, ruled from the city of Jehanna.
- Kingdom of Northpoint, ruled from the city of Northpoint.
Hammerfell
The Crown Totambus are the kingdoms traditionally dominated by the Crowns:
- Tomba Do-Nudri, ruled over from the city of Skaven and also in control of the Redguard half of Dragonstar.
- Tomba Do-Djilein, centered around the city of Gilane.
- Hegathe, centered around the city of Hegathe.
The Forebear republics are traditionally dominated by the Forebears:
- Republic of Elinhir, centered around the city of Elinhir.
- Republic of Rihad, centered around the city of Rihad.
- Republic of Taneth, centered around the city of Taneth.
Sentinel and its Sultanate are in a unique situation and belong to neither of the groups.
- Sultanate of Sentinel, centered around the city of Sentinel.
Other political entities that control land in Hammerfell are:
- Orsinium, the city-state of the Orcs.
Knightly Orders
The Iliac Bay area is home to a large collection of Knightly Orders. Being a Bretic tradition, they are most commonly found in High Rock, altough certain areas of Hammerfell with Breton influences are known to have Knightly Orders as well.
Note that some knightly orders will be joinable, but not all, and that the ability to join certain orders may be dependent on choices made during quests.
