The Knights of the Nine were once an order of knights

In the 3rd Era

The Knights of the Nine appeared in two iterations. The first one was founded to safeguard the artifacts of Pelinal Whitestrake, the legendary Divine Crusader. However, due to infighting over the artifacts, the order disbanded, and the artifacts were scattered, and the sword of the Crusader were corrupted.

During the Oblivion Crisis, the Knights of the Nine were reformed, in order to recapture the artifacts of the Divine Crusader. This task was carried out by the Champion of Cyrodiil, who restored the Knights of the Nine, recollected the artifacts of the Divine Crusader, and struck down the reincarnation of Umaril the Unfeathered.

Their status in the 4th Era is unknown.
